A piece of land to which gestures and things have clung—or rather, pieces of things, fragments of gestures. Washed-up, faded fragments of a record.
The stranger (obcy) drifts and, for a moment, takes hold. The stranger washed ashore. Gasp, gasp—catching one's breath. Somewhere between the water and the land. They crawl, they rise, they search for support. The stranger’s body is heavy. The stranger’s body wavers and falls. It clings to the sand. Their perspective is that of a low altitude.
Among the things washed ashore along with the stranger, the stranger finds paintings, objects, items. They appear incomplete, but after prolonged observation, they seem to arrange themselves into a kind of rebus.
